It is at home that children need to learn about God!
Abstract: Shared role in children’s spiritual formation, emphasizing that the family is the primary setting for learning and practicing the faith, while the church should support and equip those responsible for this task. Drawing on biblical principles, especially Deuteronomy 6, it discusses the importance of parental example, the everyday teaching of Scripture, prayer, and family worship in children’s spiritual development. It argues that children’s discipleship should not be limited to church programs, but should be integrated into family life and supported by other members of the Christian community. The article concludes that partnership between family and church strengthens the development of faith without transferring to the church the primary responsibility entrusted to parents and caregivers.
