Debate sobre o ministério pastoral feminino na OPBB e as interpretações ao texto bíblico de 1 Timóteo 2.9-15

Resumo

O presente artigo tem como proposta demonstrar os rumos tomados pela Ordem dos Pastores Batistas do Brasil referente à histórica discussão sobre a ordenação de mulheres ao pastorado, analisar a perícope de 1 Timóteo 2.9-15 e apresentar diferentes interpretações sobre o papel da mulher na Bíblia. Ao contar a trajetória da primeira pastora a ser consagrada por uma Igreja Batista filiada à Convenção Batista Brasileira, traz à tona a necessidade de buscar nas Escrituras Sagradas resposta a este embate, e o faz lembrando-se da confissão doutrinária da Convenção Batista Brasileira, a qual tem como primeiro princípio a Bíblia como regra de fé e conduta. Com isso busca analisar de modo breve, porém com a metodologia histórica-gramatical, o texto de 1 Timóteo 2.9-15, apontado como um dos mais importantes na discussão sobre o pastorado feminino. Por fim, apresenta as opiniões divergentes a respeito do papel da mulher, conhecidas como “complementaristas” e “igualitaristas” bem como suas percepções na perícope paulina acentuada.

Debate about the women”s pastoral ministry in OPBB and the interpretations to the biblical text of 1 Timothy 2.9-15

Abstract: This article aims to show the direction taken by the Association of Baptist Pastors of Brazil concerning the historical discussion about the ordination of women to the pastorate, analyze the pericope 1 Timothy 2.9-15 and present the different interpretations of the role of women in the Bible. In telling the trajectory of the first woman pastor to be consecrated by a Baptist church affiliated with the Brazilian Baptist Convention brings out the need to seek in the Holy Scriptures answer this struggle, and makes remembering the doctrinal confession of the Brazilian Baptist Convention which has as a first principle the Bible as the rule of faith and conduct. With that seeks to analyze briefly, but with the historical-grammatical method the text of 1 Timothy 2.9-15 considered as one of the most important in the discussion about female pastorate. Finally, submit the conflicting opinions about the role of women, known as "complementarian" and "egalitarian" and their perceptions in the Pauline pericope.
