O pensamento aristotélico de Tomás de Aquino e sua influência no secularismo pós-moderno

Resumo

A religião no período pós-moderno está sendo caracterizada pelo secularismo tanto no aspecto pratico quanto no teórico. A filosofia materialista-existencialista tem moldado as próprias doutrinas das diversas religiões bem como mudado a forma pelo qual os leigos buscam os espaços religiosos. Não se pode negar a influência do pensamento filosófico clássico tanto na estruturação dos dogmas cristãos nos primeiros séculos bem como nas mudanças que constatamos no período moderno e pós-moderno. O presente trabalho pretende observar os pensamentos de Tomás de Aquino baseado na filosofia de Aristóteles e sua influência nas mudanças teológicas que resultam no secularismo atual.

The Aristotelian thought of Thomas Aquinas and his influence in the post-modern secularism

ABSTRACT: Religion in the postmodern period is being characterized by secularism both in practice and in the theoretical aspect. The materialist - existentialist philosophy has shaped the very doctrines of different religions and changed the way in which the laity seek religious spaces. One cannot deny the influence of classical philosophical thought both in the structuring of Christian dogma in the early centuries and the changes that we see in the modern and postmodern period. This study aims to observe the Aquinas' thought based on the philosophy of Aristotle and its influence on theological changes that result in the current secularism.
